Nordic walking


The fascination of the mountains is waiting to be discovered… even without snow! Our guests can take part in Nordic Walking courses. This discipline is complete and suitable for everyone and allows, thanks to the aid of sticks, to walk while also training the muscles of the upper body.

The forced involvement of the muscles generates greater effects than can be achieved with normal walking, such as:

  • generalised increase in strength and endurance in the main muscles and upper torso
  • significant increase in heart rate at the same pace
  • improved vascular pathways and efficiency of oxygen supply
  • easier ascent of slopes
  • consumption of more calories than in normal walking
  • improved balance and stability
  • significant reduction in strain on the hip, knee and ankles
  • reduction of stresses on the bone structure

A Modern Nordic Walker diploma will be awarded at the end of the course.
